Drop in a PDF, choose where the numbers go, download. "1", "Page 1", "Page 1 of 10" or "1 / 10" — at the top or bottom, left, centre or right. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
Drop your PDF into the box above.
Choose the position, style, size and starting number. Tick "Don't number the first page" for a cover page.
Click "Add Page Numbers" and download. Check every page before you use it.
Good to know
- Numbers are added on top of the page, about 1 cm from the edge. If the page already has text or a footer in that spot, the number can overlap it — pick another position.
- Useful for court bundles, exhibits, reports and contracts where people need to refer to "page 12".
- This adds simple page numbers. It is not Bates numbering with prefixes and is not a certified paginating service.
- Every page counts toward the 15 free pages a day.
