Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files never leave your computer or phone. StayPutPDF does all the work inside your browser, so there's nothing on our side that could be seen, stored or leaked.
Then how does it work?
When you open the site, your browser downloads the tools, not the other way round. Merging, signing, redacting and the rest happen on your own device, the same way a calculator app works without sending your numbers anywhere.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
No catch. You get 15 free pages a day across all tools, with no account, no sign-up and no watermark. If you need more, Premium removes the limit.
What counts as a page?
Every page of the documents you work on. Merging a 3-page and a 2-page file uses 5 pages. Signing only counts the pages you actually sign, and splitting only the pages you take out. The count resets every day.
Do I need an account?
No. Just open the site and use it. Even Premium doesn't need an account: you get a license key by email and paste it in once.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Once you've opened the site, most tools keep working offline, and you can install it as an app on your computer or phone. Text recognition (OCR) needs internet the first time, to download the language it reads.
What does Premium include, and how much is it?
No page limit on any tool, text recognition (OCR) for scans, a saved signature and one-click form filling. It's $9 a month, $69 a year, or $149 once for lifetime access.
I bought Premium. How do I turn it on?
Open the email from Lemon Squeezy and copy your license key. On this site, click Upgrade, then “Already subscribed? Enter your license key”, and paste it. One key works on up to 5 devices.
How do I cancel? Can I get a refund?
Open your Lemon Squeezy receipt email and click View Order. Select your StayPutPDF Premium order, click the plan under Subscriptions, then Cancel subscription. Premium keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. If Premium isn’t right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days: reply to your receipt email or write to support@stayputpdf.com.
Is my signature or my details saved somewhere?
Only in your own browser, on your own device. We never see them. If you clear your browser data, they're gone.
Is redaction really safe?
Redact PDF removes the hidden text from the file, it doesn't just draw a black box on top. But automatic search can miss text inside images, handwriting, unusual fonts or some languages, so always open the result and check every page before you share it. (The white-out in Edit PDF only covers things up on the page and deletes nothing. To remove text, use Redact.)
Which devices and browsers does it work on?
Any up-to-date browser: Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox, on Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad or Android. Big files are faster on a computer than on a phone.
